Never heard of anything like that. Often times at races or festivals car/bike makers will bring out some cars/bikes and allow the public to test drive them but never heard of a manufacturer doing something like that for no reason every week. I dont think any bike makers are based in Michigan anyway.

Heres the 2 options. 1 Call dealers and ask them about taking a test drive. Some do, some dont. Make sure to tell them you wont buy a bike at a dealer that doesnt allow test drives.
2nd, Yamaha, harley, honda all have traveling 18 wheel trucks that stop in several states, loaded with every bike they make just for test driving, normally lasting a week or just a 3 day weekend. Information is available on their sites. Yamaha Star days, Honda hoot, etc are stops for all these trucks.

call the manufacturer and ask them where their testing grounds are and maybe they'll let you test some of theirs if you can prove you can handle what they have.

well I’ve lived here in Michigan for about 40 years now and I’ve never heard of it.

But that dont mean it doesnt exist.
