Why do short guys drive big trucks and tall guys drive small sport cars?

Friday, October 9th, 2009

For years people have always sterotyped short men. For their "package size" usually claim it is small cuz their hands are small. And for some it is true. But short guys driving in big cars…I’ve actually seen this a lot!!
Why? To make themselves look bigger? Lol.
Also, I’ve seen men who have little man syndrom…or short man syndrom or complex…I wonder if this is part of it.

I’m probably pissing off a lot of men who are considred short by society standards right now.

As a short man your question does not piss me off. A lot of guys do drive big cars and trucks short and tall. You notice the short ones because you don’t like them or have respect for them, so that being the case you assume the worst of them. You assume they must only be doing that to make up for their stature. I don’t take your question seriously, because you are stereotyping a segment of the population you have a prejudice against. Your question makes me laugh, not get angry. Enjoy being a bigot, it must feel good to be you.

The Ford Explorer Sport Track: a Vehicle for the Whole Family

Thursday, October 8th, 2009

Ford Motors has been known to produce exceptional vehicles through its lengthy history. Dominating the pickup market with their Ford F-150 for the past thirty years, the company continues its tradition of setting the bar higher for themselves and the competition.

The 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Track is no exception to that. This all new radically revised vehicle looks like as if it is a hybrid of the Ford F-150 and an Explorer. But it is not. It is a completely new car which has been making waves in the automobile industry due to the fact that American consumers are appreciating its looks and performance level.

The vehicle comes with a 4.6 liter V8 engine which can produce 292 horsepower, also common on most Ford trucks in production. The engine is complemented with a six speed automatic transmission with a gear span ratio of 6.04:1 which makes the car more energy efficient and reduce its emissions. Its towing capability is a respectable 6,800 pounds and has a cargo capacity of 1,390 pounds. Fuel economy is also a huge issue and the new Ford Sport Track is one of those cars which can give a lot of power but does not consume much fuel having a gas mileage rating of nearly 15 mpg in 60/40 per cent highway or city driving.

The suspension system of the vehicle is also unlike that of the Ford F-150. This vehicle has the Independent Rear Suspension which provides a smooth ride to the occupants. But if you want to even further increase the stability and the handling performance of the truck and further increase its good looks, you will not go wrong with an Eibach Pro Kit springs.

What specially makes this vehicle a great car is its styling. The positive response to the trucks exterior design can be heard from almost anyone regardless of gender. It is a great family vehicle that can perform the duties of a pickup truck well enough. Another added bonus to the styling of the vehicle both in and out is the quiet drive comparable to a sedan; it may be even quieter than some sedans. Good steering is also one plus for the truck for it has one of the more responsive steering systems in the market. The vehicle can be driven on a straight highway or twisting side roads and the steering prowess can be felt easily.

The truck also has one of the best and user-friendly navigation systems. It not only shows the driver what street he is traversing but also tells him onto what street to turn to, this is a very convenient accessory added to the car and will no doubt be of great help for any driver behind the wheel of this vehicle.

NASCAR- A Family Sport

Thursday, October 8th, 2009

There are a lot of sports that are trying to market themselves to a wide variety of audiences. And one of those audiences is “the family market”. In this day and time, we don’t see too many sports that are really family oriented, but more importantly, that the whole family would enjoy.

NASCAR has always had the reputation of being a family sport. Families seem to love it and can be involved in it together. For once, Mom is not shut out of sports talk. NASCAR estimates that 40% of their fan base is female. Mom has her favorite driver, dad has his favorite and the two have a friendly competition while sharing an interest and hobby. It’s an activity you can do with your teenager without him thinking you are totally out of touch and that, as we all know, is priceless! Families can also watch races together on television without fear of inappropriate material searing their young children’s eyes. And if you think that it is only something that the “South” loves, you would be surprised to find that 50% of NASCAR fans are “white collar”. It has become a sport for all people and all families.

As the NASCAR Circuit has grown and worked to expand their markets and fan base, they have definitely experienced change throughout the years. When Brian France took the helm he made major alterations such as allowing hard liquor companies to sponsor cars and he also decided to drop Winston as a sponsor, effectively sending an “against tobacco” stance. He is the one responsible for dreaming up the Chase for the Cup, which has changed so much about the competition. Now they have brought in international drivers and there is talk of a female driver. But one thing that hasn’t changed is that NASCAR wants drivers to be good role models. In October 2005, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. stepped out of line by using a mild curse word in Victory Lane. That action earned him a fine which in the end took him out of the running for the Cup.

Now I’m not saying that NASCAR racing is perfect and “lily white” clean. But in this day of greed, overexposure, loss of family values, and many more challenges, NASCAR seems to be working to keep it something that fans of all ages and all backgrounds can enjoy. As long as they keep that up, they will be successful with the family.

The bottom line is that NASCAR is family fun and that seems to have stayed the same year in and year out. We hope that it stays that way!

American sport cars are becoming very fast?

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

I’m sick of all the talk about the lambos the farrari’s and porsches. . The new 2007 supersnake shelby with 725Hp,Chevorlet corvette SS with 650hp and the dodge viper with 600Hp all stock baby. I think these cars will make a difference

There’s always critics for everything, no matter what it is. You also forgot the Ford GT with 550 hp and can clear 1/4 of a mile in 11 seconds. Even normal every day family cars like the Ford Taurus, which has 263 hp, are getting sportier. The 2008 Lincoln MKS which is coming out this fall is going to have 315 hp which will smoke a lexus or BMW any day. The 2008 Navigator is also getting an upgrade to 420 hp which smokes the Escalade by 17 hp! I’m not sure about the 2009 Chevy Camaro and Dodge Challenger, but they are supposed to have loads of hp that will smoke any foreign vehicle out there. Also, I think any American sports car can still smoke lambo’s and ferraris because American cars have speed, but can also handle a lot better than super fast euro cars.

Used Cars Worth Goes Downhill

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

Everyone gets a half-price upon purchasing a family model by a year-old-example private buying. This was according to the to the latest depreciation study. The City CarClub transmitted this research with a pay-as-you-go rental scheme. The City CarClub examined first-year depreciation on family models. Rather than an expected dealer trade-in value, it is based on to be a private-selling price. They show that these vehicles are in great cost and outstanding value used.

One of the family models was the Fiat Stilo Multi Wagon, which is known to be the worst in auto performance which lost 54.9 percent of its total value during its first year of ownership. The Stilo Multi Wagon of Fiat is closely trailed by Kia Rio and Renault Laguna Sport Tourer. Unlike other family vehicle and model cars, they have sustained their value. For example Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen, it went through depreciation and studies but it never went down for as low as 50 percent of its total value. Consequently, they are far more different from any other car companies. As Volkswagen have their VW bug parts, it will still run a mile for its value compared to these three worst priced family models.

In summation of the findings, the three load-luggers made it to the bottom five, and they were all chosen as the worst priced family models than their average hatchback siblings. Depreciation rates were calculated based on the figures from the consumer price guide Parkers, and included a number of variations from each model series. The amount of money purchaser on new cars every year is surprising. Dirk Van Dijl, boss of CityCarClub explained; “it’s estimated that motorists and businesses loses around £5.8 Billion every year due to depreciation”. 286

I see state employees driving BMW sport cars this is awaste of tax-payers money what do you think?

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

The vehicles were confiscated in criminal investigation and the state use them instead of buying other vehicles .this policy has been in effect for ten years.

Can you prove they are government issued?…
